I have a 03 fatboy. B\\;ack with the stripe. Anyway I hate the axle part of the wheel. Friend says I should do all the swing arm but I knda like the black swing arm with my bike. I have a chrome belt cover etc. I saw a duece like mine with the swing arm axle cover kit on it and like it. Good contrast. Would appreciate any feedback.&nbsp\\;

I dont care for chrome swingarms on fatboys. to me a fatboy should look old school. a hardtail look. when you put on a chrome swingarm it takes away from this look. my 2 cents

 

I agree with TLB but it also depends on the color of your bike. I think darker colors look good with black swingarms and a few chrome accents.

I dont like the chrome swingarm, I agree the softail should keep the hardtail look and chrome swingars make them stand out to much IMO. I like the chrome axel covers that are available and its a lot lesss $ than a swing arm. But do what you like its your bike.

Here's a novel idea,COVERS SUCK.Why not put a chrome axle in?

 

My thoughts:&nbsp\\;Chrome swing arms ruin the illusion of the softail unless you also chrome the frame. They were designed to look like a&nbsp\\;hard tail.
