Good job...I still have not done anything with my bike yet, but I do want to try a few minor things i.e. oil change, something along the lines of what you just did. I see you have snow....we just got dumped on here again 25 cm and more to come. Do you ride in the snow? I couldn't here way to much ice, sand and salt on the roads. My bike is in storage where it's been since November[:@]. By the way what exhaust is that you have there? I like the look.

Thanks for the comments. I don't ride in the snow...just took it out to get some pics then back in the garage. Sure hope it melts before Friday; I take the military motorcycle drivers test then so I can get it registered. The pipes are V&H bigshot longs....definately great sounding pipes.

Nice. I have the same bike and want to put the floorboards on. Did you have footpegs on there before?

What are the extra parts you need beside the floorboard kit to make the switch from pegs. You have part numbers?

Are those V&H longshots?

Thanks

I wanted to put passenger boards on my '02 Fat Boy. But I have the chrome inserts on the frame and the chrome swing arm nut cover. The directions stated that I couldn't use the boards without removing those items.

What is that little dark square on the left side of your air cleaner? Is that just a reflection or what? I am talking about in this picture.

Yes, those are V&H bigshot longs. Parts you will need are:

1. Passenger floorboard kit 50602-00
2. Saddlebag bracket relocation kit 90238-00
3. Your choice of footboard covers....I went with the concho 50193-96
4. Your choice of pads
5. Beer and about 2 hours

Damn this floorboard package is more confusing than doing engine work!

Let me see if I have this straight.

I need to purchase the Kit, and covers and relo kit?

On the kit you got(50602-00) it says the kit includes footboards, pads and mounting hardware.

Was the only part you bought extra for that the Relocation Kit?

The part I am looking at 50357-04 looks like it needs insert and supports sold seperatly and I guess the relo kit.
