ROcker solo seat with the touring system second seat
Has anyone added the second seat with the backrest? If so, does the passenger seat act as a backrest for the driver? Can you attach any luggage/backpack to the passenger backrest?

Yes the passenger's seat has a curved indentation in it for thedrivers back to lean up against. Depending what type of backpack you buy I know they come with those straps on them, I'd say you could wrap them around the passengers back rest. If you don't have a passenger their seat pops right off of the support and that doubles as a rack to put luggage on.

Thanks for the pictures. I think that is my next purchase. This way I can use the rack and the passenger backrest for luggage and I have the second rider option. IS the passenger seat a functional backrest for you? backrest

I have that setup (struts, luggage rack & passenger seat) and the passenger seat makes an excellent backrest for me. I only bolt on this setup for long trips. I also had the struts powder coated satin black instead of the gray.

It's actually a pretty functional backrest and it works well for haulin the kids around.. Haven't put an adult on the back yet so I have no idea how it will ride with more weight on it...
I'm plannin on powder coating the struts also but I'm going to wait and do it this winter along with the swing arm, head light, risers and triple tree..
