Just a note to thank everyone for all their help and kind words about my Fat Boy,
but it's gone now.
I've traded it for an '08 Street Glide.
FYI:
Don't ever go to a Harley Demo day. It could end up costing you a lot ofmoney.
They have upgrade mods for Touring bikes too. [:@]

New to this forum but know what you mean about the Demo Days.............just went to see what Harley had going that day and traded up from my 2005 883 Sportster to a 2008 Heritage Classic, Purple Haze. In two weeks I have put over $2500 inupgrades to the new ride already. I loved my Sportster but wow............what a ride I have now!

Les, you dog, I love those Street Glides. I gotta hang on to my Fatty though. I got too much in her to turn her out to pasture quite yet. Enjoy that ride, I'm saving the touring bike for my 40th Birthday. Only 9 years to go. I should be done moding the fatboy by then (I hope), and the trade in value will be so low, I will just have to have two bikes. You can tell, I have thought this through. Good luck man, keep us posted on the progress.
