Do you think a Night Train is okay for 5'11" 275 lbs

The Nighttrain has a pretty aggressive sitting position. You lean forward quite a bit to reach the drag bars. I don't know how you carry your weight, but leaning forward doesn't seem to me like it would be too comfortable. Especially on longer rides your back could become sore. I would look for a bike with a more upright sitting position unless you are looking to change the handlebars on the nightrain to get you more upright and centered.

Stock the night train has a difficult riding position at best. Whoever designed it never rode one. The bars are placed for a guy that's 6'3" and the foot controls for a guy that's about 5'7". When I bought my '07 I pulled the stock risors and replaced them with a set that was the same height but with a 1" pullback. The foot controls got the 3" extention kit. It sits perfect for me now. I'm 5'11"/6" and 210 pounds (not fat).

Not trying to hyjack this thread, but I've got a question for you Night Train guys. How wide are the stock drag bars on the Train. I like the look of the drag bars on the Train and I'm thinking about putting a set on my Wide Glide. (Still debating on whether I want those or taller apes)I figured as many Night Trains as you see with aftermarket bars I could find a set of the stock ones on Ebay. I did find a set of risers I'm watching but no such luck onthe bars. There are aftermarketdrag bars for sale on Ebay in different widths though. If I go that route I want to make sure I buy the right width to get the look I want. If one of you guys could measure yours and let me know it would be greatly appreciated.
Oh and to address the main question of the thread. I'm 5' 9,200 lbs, and my arms aren't that long. I rode a buddies 05 train on an all day ride. The riding position/reachwasn't a problem for me at all. The badlander seat did make my **** ache though, lol.
