I'm 6' and love my Heritage Softail. Mine's a 90 model, and I enjoy taking it anywhere. I also have a V-Star 1100 so if you've ridden one of them you'll feel very much at home on the Heritage. I highly recommend it and I'm glad I have mine and still have a smile on my face everytime I climb on it!!!

ORIGINAL: Hrd Rider

I've had a 1999 anda 2002 Heritagethen jumped to an Ultra, just went back to a 2008 Heritage. True as said above the Ultra gave me a bit more comfort on 6000 + trips but I've ridden both the 1999 and the 2002 East Coast to West Coast. I missed the Tourpak for storage on the long trips but have never reallyhad a problem withluggage on the Heritages. My 2002 was themost comfortable, just was? Can't go wrong buying a Heritage. Stay safe and buy your Heritage.
Hrd Rider
Some quick detachable hardware and it becomes a pretty good 2up distance tourer.

I have a 2003 Heritage, and love the bike! It is my first Harley, and I could not be happier with my choice. I have ridden the Deluxe, Road King, Street Glide, & Road Glide... still love my Heritage. The only other bike I would consider is the Street Glide. I noticed you said you were in Korea. I was in the Army, and stationed at Camp Humphries. I don't know where you are stationed, but they have a HD Dealership in Osan, or atleast they did when I was there. You might try to check it out, if it is still there. Also, look into the AAFES car buying service. My best friend bought a 1200 Custom Sportster throught the AAFES program. Ask the service counter at your local PX / BX. They should be able to point you in the right direction. Hope you find the one you are looking for, and let us know when you do!

After many months of deliberation and test rides between the Road King, Electra-Glide, Heritage, I bought an '08 FLSTC, go with the Heritage, you won't regret it, ever.

Take them all for a ride to make your choice....all the dealers should let you take em for a demo....they are all great, see what fits you, and your style...

Thank you for your service and good luck!!

My 08 Heritage was and is my first street bike. I chose it because it fit my 30 inch inseam better than the RK. Otherwise I would've probably went with the RK. I think most will agree it's better for long rides.

I did about 250 miles yesterday and I have to tell you, my *** was feeling it at the end. My riding partner who was on an Ultra handled the ride just fine. I'm thinking a new Mustang seat may be in my future.

First of all my thanks to you also, for your service for our country.

I'm another biased fan of the Heritage. Mine is an 06 that I bought after I rode a VStar for a couple of years. Load it up or strip it down. Be happy and ride as far as mind takes ya.

Thank you for your service to our country!
The Heritage is probably the most versatile in Harleys line.
Some people say mine looks like a Deluxe. What do you think?
