Hey Capt Bob... Excellent pic of your bike!!!

I'm happy fer ya on yer alarm. I asked the dealer to throw one in (installed) and thought I was gettin a deal (got the bike at MSRP along with 15 percent off of anything I buy for life and waived dealer prep fees). Probably cost the dealer next to nothin' but I think I still got a pretty good deal. Wouldn't have paid outright for it though. I would have done what you did after seeing your post.
Bet you could take it out your HD alarm and sell it on e-bay for almost the full price...then install the 5.49 alarm! haha

Moparbobby, if your bike has the factory security system with the blinking lights and ignition kill then you should be able to install the RS siren. I did it on my 07 Heritage by using the search function under "siren" and got a great picture of where the plug is that you use.

I did a write up on this great mod. It will go off when someone moves the bike not just bumps it. there is instructions on how to adjust the sensitivity of the alarm in the Harley Softail Shop Manual. I havent looked into it but I will and i'll do a post.
