Power Commander or V&H Fuel Pak

RE: Power Commander or V&H Fuel Pak
This subject of warranties being "voided is the gretest Urban Myth going! a
little reseach on this forum and you will find a ton of posts that explain how
the FEDS will not allow the HD dealers or the MOCO to void your warranty.
Plus there are tons of Vance & Hines Fuel/Paks being run with good results
as well as PCIII. The choice is if you are ONLY doing intake and exhaust
the F/P is adequate, however if you plan additional mods like cams, head job,
and such then PCIII is a good choice if you don't mind paying for dyno time.
The ultmate tuner by all surveyed is the Thunder Max self tuner that
completly (including new o2 sensors) replaces the stock system.
Don't get fuelled by a few posts, , last time I looked in my backyard
there was'nt a money tree, how about your's?

RE: Power Commander or V&H Fuel Pak
The dealership wanted to charge me $240 for the fuelpak but was giving me a 20% discount with my bike deal. The Power Commander III is around the same price from fuelmoto. Harley (local dealer)on the other hand will sell you the Power Commander III for $370 and dyno it for $250. From everyone I have talked withand the posts that I have read, installing the PCIII is easy and the preloaded mappings are good.So you don't always have to dynoyour bike but that it is a good idea to have it done even if you don't see or hear anything wrong with the preloaded mappings. No 100% sure on this but it's what I've heard.

RE: Power Commander or V&H Fuel Pak
I have decided to go with the PCIIIthrough FuelMoto. It will be in on Friday. I'm interested in the T-max with A/T but I do not have $800-900 to fork out of pocket at this time. I'm pretty sure my wife is about to freeze my assets... I know thatthe T-max is a cost saver down the road with no Dyno time necessary but the PCIII is a good start. Thanks to all that posted, this is an awesome forum.

I went with FuelMoto, V&H pipes, Stage I SE air kit, PCIII, and man there is a difference!
Only thing I don't like are the disconnected O2 sensor wires. Is there a plug for those holes so I can remove the sensors?
