Default Sportster to Softail

Hi all - Just traded my 05 Sportster 1200 custom on a 08 Heritage Softail Classic.I loved that sporty but found i was going more and more on the hiway and wanted a bigger ride for possible tripsthat also could cruise the blvd.Hope i made the right choice as all i did was sit on the bike at the stealer. It felt right and here i am joining the softail family.Any recommendations on must have accessories or tips on this model will be greatly appreciated. Daryl

you asked for 'accessories' so i may not have the best answer,
but i would say RIDE It !
its a great bike, you got a bagger, toss some jeans and beer in it and go for a ride 2 or 3 States away,
chrome can wait, it can wait forever,
theres a hundred beerbars and topless joints within a 1000 miles of your house, i have visited most of mine

You made the right decision, just traded my 08 883 for an 08 Night Train and it is a WORLD of difference. Riding the sporty is like riding a bicycle and riding the softtail is like riding in a cadillac. Best money I ever spent.

Well I am 6'3" and about 280 so I looked like an elephant on a pissant

I had the chance to get the train when I bought the sporty but I was in too big of a ****in hurry and left. Plus the Night Train has been a dream of mine for years.
