The muffler is heavily baffled.... Normally it would be too quiet for me, but I'm putting a sidecar on this bike and my girlfriends ear will be right next to the exhaust..

Some guys have taken a drill bit and gone through the pipe to open up the baffle a little.

That's cool. I actually prefer that it has a baffle. I like loud, rumbling exhaust pipes but it's never been a priority of mine to have something like that. As long as something works properly on my scoot and gives it the look that I am after then I am happy.

Made some progress this weekend but a hit a snag on the final hook up.. The mounting arms that came with the car, dating back to 81 are too long for a softail. Ordering the new ones today.. Final assembly in the next few weeks.

Just beautiful! Stunning....Not to be a troublemaker but...how about one of those baker twin cam kick starters? Would be one hell of a finishing touch...not that you want to finish.

Too freaking cool!

Although if I may, I do have one critique; I'm not really digging the choice of upholstery on the side car seat. It doesn't seem to be working with the rest of the build. Your scoot looks like an American made motorcycle from the 40's or 50's but the side car seat looks like it came out of a European sports car from the 80's... Was there a reference or source of inspiration that you had for the seat?

That aside, you've got an amazing scoot there!
