Default Kuryakyn Mark III Pegs

I'm sold on these. Texas Fat Boy, you're application and pictures were agreat help, thank you. Questions-Are they sturdy, they do look a little whimpy at first glance? Do they twist your floorboards because of the weight/stress? Are the iso pads big enough to be comfortable? I don't like engine guards or mustache bars so these are perfect if they work.

they work great, i've had mine for 5 years now. you can put any peg on you want. very sturdy. i would'nt put all my weight on one, or stand on one, but work for their indended use very well. you'll be happy.

snip0721, so does that mean I could get the model without their pegs and the hole is pretty universal for other pegs? They don't torque the floorboads though under normal use?

Why not get the Mark IVs? They are pretty much the same thing yet mount to the frame of the bike right near the floorboards if I am not mistaken.

no they dont torque the floorboard. they mount using the front hinge pin. the arm is adjustable, and accept any peg. mine are hd, and match passenger pegs, heal/toe shifter, brake pedal, and grips. depending on toe shifter adj. and type of boot im wearing, i can upshift with the BACK of my heal. kinda like a backwards forward controls. then move foot slightly rearward and depress toe shifter to downshift. the heal shifter is still on mine, for the occasional start/stop/start/stop, or just moving the legs around.

Anybody got any close-up pics?? I don't like the look of the engine guard/moustache bar, and was interested in these peg mounts but, was wondering If this will work for my 6'2" frame??

I have the Mark IV's and I love them. They mount to the frame so there is no worry about torqueing the floor board. They are fully adjustable in two directions. They come in standard size and extended. Check out Roy Boy's photo gallery, he put up some really good pics.
