Default How's the ride of a Springer?

Trying to get my uncle to convert from Jap to Harley. He really likes the look of the Springer. He's heard different reviews on the ride of the Springer cause of the spring front end. Can any of you "Springer" guys sort of give your opinion of the ride of the Springer vs a oil filled front end. WE got to get this guy of a Harley. Thanks

I love the ride, its not much different at all. Maybe a little heavy at parking lot speeds, but no difference above 10-15 MPH.

definitely heavy in the parking lot. There is no mistaking a springer for another brand if you see them on the road, at least to those that know Harleys. The ride is different, if he likes his Japanese bike and howthey ride, he may not like the springer. Irode a honda cruiser once, and it wasn't for me, felt more like a toy than a machine.

Its a manley ride. Ha, I wouldn't ride anything else. Heavy at slow speed, a real good cruiser, brakes, a little better brake would be ok. You can get a big head real easy by riding a springer. I'm on top of the world when I ride my springer. Hows that for a report? !Changed computers today. I will post a picture later, or you can look at my login.
