Hell my cross bones feels like a 10speed bike compared to my 79 electric glide, now thats a heavy front end.

I love my Springer. Just rode over 300 miles today on my Springer Classic and the front end is solid. I don't have that big a problem with low speed parking lot riding also, but I'm not exactly trying to do those crazy police manuvers around cones.
I will be May 17th, taking a skills comp on my springer

One of my all time favorites is the '97 - 2003 Heritage Springer, with or without all the fringe. My question deals with the counter-balanced vs. non-counterbalanced engines on these. Is there a big difference in feeling the engine vibrations. I believe they started using the counterbalancers in 2000. Thanks - Steve

That is the EVO engine vs Twin Cam...Twin Cam after 2000 for softail models..EVO had more vibration. Whether it had a springer front end made no difference

Have you done it before on your Springer? If not, I'll be curious how it handles on the course.

Ive done ERCs and handled the dragon at an average of about 43 mph lots of scraping the bike handles fine! But these are the police exercises relaxed, most of the times the the exercises are in an 18 ft radius, these are in a 22 ft radius

Don't do it, you'll regret it!

What a horrible riding bike...people only get them to look cool.

I wouldn't ridea springerif somebody gave me the dam thing.

I'll never be caught without at least one Springer in my stables...mark my word on that!
