I have a 08 Fat Boy with the 1 1/4" bars , does anyone make apes in that diameter.

Recently got some LA Chopper apes in 1.25 from HCC on e-bay,nice bars and very helpful people...check 'em out,these are 1.25 thru the risers as well.

i have drag bars now...thinkin about apes.
doesnt the wind resistance get alot worse with apes??

The mini apes from harley for the wide glide are 1.25 thru the risers also. They are 8 1/2 tall.

12.5" chubby 1 1/4" apes on my Springer. I don't think the wind is any worse than stock bars.
Not sure if it's worse if you go higher but for me no issues up to 12.5" on stock 4.5" risers.

Wild One are good, but you will have to buy an adaptor plate so that the bars will fit the risers. The bars are 1.25" but slim down to 1" at the riser. Wild one sells the plate for 50 bucks or so. Sounds like the LA Chopper bars are 1.25 throughout, so no need for adaptor. They are nice bars, but a little wider than the Wild Ones.
