I wouldn't let it bother me hs, your bike is awsome and I really like the pipes. Personally I think the old timey fish tail thing can be over-done anyway. Not that there is anything wrong with them but they are getting a lot of exposure lately.

But that's why I have two bikes...I can have both worlds.

I think if I were to have two bikes one would be a Red Road King
lowered with lots of chrome and the other would be a bad *** bobber all blacked out with heat wrap tape on the pipes cams up to it's eye ***** and a 103" motor. Now thats the best of both in my opinion. But alas, I can't afford it and the wife would have me committed.

Wow, 11 to 10 in favor of leaving the pipes as are. I still haven't decided and you guys aren't making it any easier.
Decisions, decisions.
Anyone know how much the Reinharts cost. They don't list prices as far as I can tell.

Marsh, here is my opinion (and it's just an opinion).....I realize that 2 into 1's are greatfor performance, and would be the best option for performance. With that said, I prefer your current pipes, simply because I think that they compliment the look that you've established. Your scoot looks great as it is, and I think that the 2 into 1 would not fit into your design. Again, just my .02.....good luck with your decision.

I just want to be clear.. Opinions are like A$$holes. Every one has one. You need to do what you want. It took me a long time to convert to 2in1. My bike is supposed to have dual fishtails. You have no idea how much crap I catch in the Heritage Springer community.

Yeah, everyone talks individuality, but let someone show a little, and that's what happens...like you said, you gotta make yourself happy.

Marsh - your bike looks great as it is but I do like the 2 into 1. Changed mine out to the D&D Fatcats and really like the performance gain and look. Lots of V&H duel pipes on Heritages but a 2 into 1 makes it stand out from the crowd (not that yours doesn't already - especially with that popping leather)

Don't have pics here in the office but found a thread I started a few mionths ago showing my Heritage after I put the pipes and new AC on.

https://www.hdforums.com/m_2529045/tm.htm

Good luck with the choice.

Since those pics were taken, I have since changed out the bars to HD Beach Bars, full set of diamond back cables, flush mounted fuel cap and guage and a low profile full chrome console (replacing the leather & studs). Make a big differance. Will post updated pics this evening once I get home.
