Back when I had mine on it was a simple bolt on project. What really helped was loosening the mounting bracket a bit. It allowed everything to line right up. Without loosening things up there would have been some allignment issues requiring a redrill.

Any Luck get the Ride out today, need a progress report on the Sound and performance of the Rush Pipes.

Thanks,

Joe
Yes I got it out today.
36 degrees and 25 mph windbut it was invigorating and it had to be done.
I love the sound and I had no backfires or other weirdstuff in a7 mile loop that covereda little bit of65 mph 6th gear running.

Loosening the bracket for me would have made no difference because the mufflers can slide in and out and rotate as much as you would like.
You can't change the hole centers by loosening the bracket.

Sounds like they were a bit of a PITA to get on, but they look great. And I L-O-V-E that black and white paint scheme on the Deluxe.
