Bitchin'

Yo J, what kind on apes are those, brand??? Thickness???

Mimo.
They're 1 1/2" 13" rise made by Tolemar.

I got them from Custom Chrome. I think they were about $250 + $200 for the risers and I had to grind the hell out of my nacelle. But it was worth it.
Thank you. How much did you pay for them if you don't mind me asking.

13" rise... did you get away with using your stock cables with those?
No. I'm on my third set of braided lines cause I keep changing bars.

How about this Roland Sands exhaust.. I bet it would look killer on your bike.

Those pipes are sick but I might need to put detachable bags on and those pipes wont work with them,

I'm almost done with the changes to my Fatboy but I'm undecided on just how far to go with the black parts. I want to keep a good contrast with the chrome. I still need to get back the a/c cover, dash, and rear axle covers from the powdercoater. My big question is the pipes. Semi-gloss black or keep em chrome? I'm also thinking about putting back the stock black hand controls and doing parts of my forward controls. Any input from you guys will be greatly appreciated as the weather is starting to break here in NY and I need to get out on the road ASAP.

J:

the bike is looking AWESOME! I like the FL front fender on it! Looks killer!

Here's my $.02. Paint/powdercoat exhaust semi or flat black. Use chrome heat sheilds. I have a black exhaust on mine now, which is similar to yours bike. What my sig pic does NOT show is the chrome heat sheilds that I put on. I think it would make your bike stand out a bit more. I'll try and get some pics posted for ya.

Looking great!

Denis
I'd love to contrast the pipes but I have full length heat shields. I could do the shields black and leave the tips chrome.

I would just do the oil tank and not the round one.

is this enough black. mine is in the re-build stage and will sort of look like this with just hints of chrome oil lines, filler cap some other things

I'd leave your engine parts chrome. But black everything else! It looks great!

I agree with CNC. I think you should leave a little contrast, especially around the tranny.
