Default Dyno / SERT Disappointment

I copied Sonar_Chris and hoped for the same results (Big Shot Staggards, Stage 1 Kit, SERT & Dyno) for my Heritage Softail Classic and the Dyno reults are as follows: 68.82 HP and 70.44 Torque. While running on the download (they made me do it until I hit 1K miles) it ran lean but the seat of the pants feel says it was much faster with considerabley more grunt. The comparison chart shows 63.50 HP & 72.44 torque. Maybe this is the key: before I was higher in both categories until 4700 RPM then both previous torque and HP tapers off. It does however look (on the chart) and feel smoother now. Don't know how to post pictures for the results (or pics of my bike either). One major bit 'o info is that I installed the quiet baffles therefore is the lack of punch due to the baffles or the mechanic who performed the dyno (Orange County HD said to bring it back in and they would do it again)? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated!

I would say that they don't have it dialed in correctly. Take it back and have them go over it again. There is no way that it should have fun better with just the download.

Here is an easy way to post pictures in the body of your post or in your signature. Just follow my directions and let me know if you have a problem.

If you want to post full size pictures you have to use a picture host on the net. Go to www.photobucket.com and sign up. Then download your pictures from your computer to photo bucket. Once you get the ones you want downloaded pick a picture you want to post here. Just below the picture (in photo bucket) you will see a URL. Right click and copy it. Now go back to the forum and when you are in your post look up below the bottom right smiley face and you will see an image button. Click on it and it will insert this in your post [IMG][/IMG]. Now see the two middle brackets--][-- Put you cursor between them and right click and ipaste your copied URL from photo bucket here. When you are done it will look like this. . Now scroll down and click OK. Your picture should be in your post.

If you want a picture in your signature you will do basically the same thing except after you have copied your URL from photo bucket go back to the forum and click on "My Profile" at the top of the forum page. Now scroll down until you see "My Signature". In the white box on the right type It has to be exact with no spaces between your image brackets and the URL. Now scroll down and click on OK or Apply and your image should be saved in your signature. Do another test to see if it worked.

If you have any questions, send me a pm.

WOW thats kinda shocking that you didnt get about the same results that I did. I'd say that they didnt tune it all that well, but thats just my oppinion, you should take it back and have them do it again because they did something wrong.

Thanx Terri & Chris for the replys. I'm gonna take it back - it's a pain having my wife drive 30 miles to pick me up and 30 miles to drop me back off after it's fixed (course I don't mind the 30 miles on the bike). Also thanx for the posting pics tip. I'll get to that shortly.
