removing grips, and installing new ones????

RE: removing grips, and installing new ones????
Thin letter opener, WD-40, and patience. I have taken off stock grips, a few sets of the squishy foam HD ones, the football grip HD ones, and Kuryakyn ISO's without ripping or damaging.
Use sandpaper to get bulk of old adhesive off bars. One of those sponge type pads works well and so does a flat piece wrapped around the bars using your GI Joe kung foo grip. I sand perpendicular to the bars to provide grooves for adhesive to stick better. Clean with no residue solvent of your choice and add new grips.

I was able to just twist mine off with my bare hands, and I'm just a little ph^%^^er. Back and forth a few times, then full rotation breaks it free.

No friggin way would I be able to "twist" off my grip without killing my wrist.
The Kuryakyn grip glue is friggin' STRONG and QUICK acting....once you slide your grip on, you have at best 3 seconds to twist into proper location.....
