I have an 07 Deuce, so use the same pipes as you. I have to agree with everyone here, if you want slip-ons, go Rush. If you can, go full pipes -2:1. I originally used D&D slip-ons, and loved the sound, but there were no heat shields, and they melted my wife's boots. I replaced those with a Supertrapp, which I do like. Had I to do it over, I would have gone Rush, even though I've never used them before.

srigas,

I think the PM/email section is screwed up today along with the search function. I sent out 2 emails, but there isn't any copy in my outbox, and I never received your email either....

You can email me directly at mparkerclt@aol.com if you'd like.......

I just put a set of the Rush baloney cut with 2 inch baffles on my 06 Deluxelast month. Got them from FuelMoto along with the PCIII and air cleaner and was cheaper than ordering from the catalogs. The sound is great and bike runs well also. As far as the passenger foot peg situation, I moved the peg up above the top pipe on the right side by using a solid bar that was bent in a 90 and welding the u shaped peice from the original bracket onto it. I also did the same to the left side. It's just right for my wife's legs and it's actually better than what was on from the factory for her. You can't go wrong in my opinion with the Rush's

You can get the older discontinued SE slip ons from Supertrapp. Same as Night Trains. They bought the patent I think? Try there. They do sound great. Bark nicely when you get on them.

Can someone explain the differences with the RUSH mufflers? I see 1.5, 1.75, etc. Is this the outer diameter of the exhaust? or the inner baffle size? Whats the difference between 1.5 and 2.0? Is one louder? One have more flow through???

Many Thanks!!
Joe

Go with the Rush. Good sound; good looks; interchangeable baffles
