New bike, not ready to bite on the fuel manager bait yet. I know everyone says they're a must do but I'm not convincedthat any of them would make a significant difference in performance that would justify the expense. When I see some hard data I may change my mind.

Fuel/Pak, easy set up works great if you are only doing a/c and pipes

Hey jimmers, what do you mean, hard data?

It it very well known that stepping up to Stage 1 is a world of difference. Stock pipes are ugly and are only there to satisfy the EPA, not the owner.

Your '08 will run cooler after it is allowed to drink more fuel, and I am quite certain a vast majority will boast about the increase in performance. There are plenty of dyno numbers and seat of the pants testimony which all agree that you get a better running bike once you let it breath better and drink more.

I mean, do what you want, but to claim that there isn't any hard data is over the top.

Power Commander 3. Buy it from fuel moto and they will put one of there maps in it if you tell them the mods you have. I love mine. I get absolutely NO decel popping. Highly recommend them.

I have a Terry's Terminal Velocity II. No more manual tuning. PERIOD!

But I am not telling you to go with this.

I have the PCIII-USB and I have been very happy with it. I did the SE-AK and the V&H bss's at the same time I had the PCIII installed. Worth while investment for me.

A buddy of mine has the SERT and similar mods to mine on his road king... it rides like crap in my opinion. Not sure how much of that is the Tuner itself or the guy that tuned it.

I went to Harley and asked them which they would install... the SERT or the PCIII... The guys said the PCIII hands down. Since they do 90% of the work on my bike I wasn't going to fight it.
