Grats on the FXSTC. It was my 3rd HD and I think it will be my last. This bike has it all. Looks, Comfort, and above all style. Cant beat a Softail IMHO. Only thing Im going to add it some switchblade foot pegs so I can get 3" more stretch, im tired of resting my feet on top of my shifter and brake pedal.

Stretch, you hit the nail on the head, both with the bike and the feel of the bike.

I had my last bike for years and had lost interest. Now, I cant wait to ride my custom. I dont know if its Harley or the custom, but when I ride rentals sometimes its not the same (Dealer gives me a variety of rentals to ride during service).

Thanks for mentioning the extensions too, at 6' they sound like the would fit me perfectly from the other guys post.

By the way, I like the black too...just mines theother black, Black Denim.

Mike

YES! Love the denim. I got the gloss because it comes that way. Black denim and polished cases looks great too.

Sorry I dropped off the face of the planet. Work and riding kind of offset my time. Got some OT coming tomorrow. Need another 150 for my fork brace and oil pressure gauge.
Can't live without the pressure gauge. Way better than the idiot light, which can fail.

Has anyone run the new oil cooler? Can't believe they mount it up on the downtubes. Looks like it might block air flow.

There is two models. One on the upper and on lower. They took identical but the model that mounts higher has a 185 thermostat and the lower one 215 degrees. I did want the ower temp, but like you I wondered about the air flow. I went with the lower one. Last march at Daytona bike week during the stop and go traffic, it never went over 215 so I am please with it.

Don't have the part # but both are in the parts book.
