Nice choice strechman!
Nice looking bike I like it in black!
Can't wait for a day shot.
The K&Q seat is so retro-cool I'm glad you smiling-and RIDING AGAIN!!!!
ENJOY!!!

That's the best one so far. I know, I gotta get a day shot.

Today, I started the long xustomization process. I have added:

Red lens turn signal running light kit.
Oil temp guage.

I have already payed for the securty system with alarm/pager. I'll
get it installed with the 1000 mi service.

I also have a rightside tool box on order for it.

Doers anyone here have experience with these?

I am looking at extensions for the forward controls, at 6'3", I am kinda leggy.

Well, rolled over 100 miles tonight. Getting cold out there. Into the 50s tonight.

Discovered a weird error. When I was at the dealer, I called my insurance company
to get the bike covered. Well, I juxtaposed an S for a 5, and they had my bike covered.
An 08 FLXTC. What is an FLXTC? ouldn't find one on Harley's page.

Anyways, long story short, I had them update the coverage and fax the
paperwork over to the dealer. I feel a little bit better about it now.

Thing is, the paper I was looking at was hand written, but I told them it was
a Softail Custom. I guess when they put the VIN in is spit something else out.
I went onlkine to check my coverages and bingo. Called them, they fixed it in
5 minutes. GEICO is allright, but I think theyshould have called me out when
the model didn't match.

Remember the story about the princess and the pea? Shouldn't bother me, I suppose,
but man, I was getting some weird looks tonight. But chicks are already asking me for
rides. That never happened on the road sofa.

Good work Stretchman. The way I see it you couldn't have done better.
This is what mine looked like a few months ago. Right now I'mwaiting fora few more toys, including a new Corbin seat.

Hey Stretch
In Regards to the 3" ext.
I have used the NESS ones on my 03 Deuce and had on till I bought my 07 Custom. No problems with them during that time.
Just Note that the 07 up bikes have a differen footpeg set up to 06 and earlier bikes.
If U are going with a set make sure U get the 07 and up kit.

Also incase U don't know Harley has now released 3" ext for the Custom in Chrome or Black. Just go to new products for softail on their site.

My Custom below has the 3" ness kit installed. The Left side was a pain to change with those stupid star bolts they use all over the bike. Could not get top bolt out with the stuff I had and had to take to shop. 03 Deuce was easy but the 07 was a pain.

Nice choice, of course! Now there you go. A future upgrade for my FX. I'm 6'1" and leggy too. I wonder if 3" is too long. (That's what she said).
