Any Tall Heritage riders ?

Any Tall Heritage riders ?
You guessed it, it's another prospective Harley owner looking for some advice to avoid buying the wrong bike.
I am after a brand spanker, that I can ride to work (roughly an hour each way), and throw the missus on the back for a blast on the weekend (provided we can unload the tribe on someone for a few hours).
I'm very tall and lanky (6'6"), and I like the Heritage Softail. Wondering if any taller riders have them and what, if anything they have done for comfort.
For tax reasons I need to include any mods into the purchase of the bike. I dunno what the options are for foot boards, can you extend them like pegs ?
I'm guessing a tallboy seat is a start anyway.
Thanks in advance
Jim

I'm about 6'2". I have an older Sloptail Heritage ('87). I moved the footboards forward my self by some cutting, grinding, and drilling. Also modified the brake pedal with some cutting & welding. Can't use a crash bar, which I don't like anyway. Do a search on here for footboards, floorboards, or something like it, under my handle.

Im not as tall as you all (6') but it seems to me with some good engine guards or extended foot pegs that attach to the footboards, you should be able to stretch out pretty well. The other great thing about the Heritage is that it comes with a bunch of accessories already included. Good luck with your purchase.
