RE: Rocker C pics... at dealer... first impression
No offense to you older guys here (can I say that since I'm now 40?), but HD is more concerned with building a bike that the NEXT crowd wants to buy, not necessarily the folks like me who will always prefer my '03 FXSTS to anything the Rocker has to offer. But did they build a bike that will bring in new buyers? Personally, I don't think so but I might be wrong.
Will the aftermarket embrace it ... Too early to tell, but no company worth their salt will manufacture parts just hoping the bike will be a hit long-term. Does the gas tank angle look ENTIRELY wrong? Absolutely. I could learn to look past (or change) many of the shortcomings with the Rocker, but that basic line from the seat/tank/bars is just all screwed up with the tank sitting so strangely.
Would I pay $20K for a bike that needs immediate modifications to be something I want? Not a chance. Will new buyers do so? Time will tell. For now, I'll just enjoy seeing this one in my garage. I'm a sucker for the classics!

Can't get past that UGLY seat set up and really doubt there is a fix for it considering the fender is attached to the swing arm . Its even UGLIER than when I have to temporarely put the Sundowner seat on my Deuce ( Wifes seat , comes off as soon as she does ! )
