Kit $2900
Wheels $775
Machine work $100 so far
Tires$250 plus mounting and balancing
Pipes $100 (got a great deal on them from craigslist)
License plate frame $200
Misc$300
All of the problems so far PRICELESS
Still need to get directionals paint and little odds and ends but the local bike shop wanted $7500 for the kit installed so I guess I am ahead so far I get most of my parts from e bay and craigslist and I wait till I find a good deal before bidding

7500 installed wow you could buy a 883 sporty for that much

Ttlpakg I am guessing from the pic yours is lowered if I am correct what kit did you use and how is the ride

yes it is lowered. im running the progressive air ride system. the adjustability makes for a nice ride. i would highly recommend it.

You never attempted anything like this before? From the pictures it looks like you jumped into the deep end first. That looks like a huge project. My dictionary defines patience as: the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry. You've obviously got a lot.
Anxious to see the pics when the project is done.

 

I just looked through your pics & you definately took on a big project.

I have run into various problems when doing projects on my bikes. Can get very frustrating when in the middle of doing it. Great satisfaction though when its finally completed& you take a good look at it and say, wow this looks freaking great.
