RE: This one is calling my name! UPDATE!! 1/08
That's really nice.
A little more than a year ago I bought my 2002 Deuce from a private party. It also had custom factory tins, 57/150, and more than $4k in extras. I paid $12k for it which seems a little high but the guy who bought it new had receipts for more than $22k so it came down to total cash outlay and total depreciation for me over time. It had 3600 miles on it and was mint. The original owner was in his 70's and everything around his place was immaculate.
Some would say I paid too much but at least I'm not the one who lost the first ten grand.
Some would also say the 2002 was about the best year of the twinkie. It was after some problems were sorted out but it still has the Timken bearings in the bottom end.
Good luck and enjoy.

Any time I see a newer vehicle with fresh paint I get paranoid. I wonder if it was wrecked. In our state at least, if it wasn’t totaled it still has a clean title. I know – some people just like custom paint but I still wonder.
