Can you you find a cheaper one with less miles, then just copy the paint? That's something I might do.
Thought about that....but custom paint job like that could easily cost $2-3K.

I bought my 2000 fatboy last year with 39,000 miles.
16,000 mile? sounds ok too me.
You can always offer a lower $ amount......and walk away.

It appears the bike has a couple of thousand in upgrades so I don't find the price that far out of line. Even the tires are upgraded to WWW's.
I'd buy it.

paintsets go on Ebay for $400-1000 complete.
You might just keep an eye out there for something that catches your eye if you can't get the price down some.

For a 2 year old $18,000-$19,000 bike with probably $2000.00 in up grades? Either you've got to be kidding or prices where you live are dirt cheap and I should have bough my bike there.
Around here Harleys depreciate the first 5 or 6 years at a rate of about $1,000 a year.

I bought an 07 FXSTC, spotless, with 6k miles, probably 1k in extra chrome and 4 years left on the warrenty for $11,700. Guy paid $18,600 for the package...he showed methe HD receipt. Deals are out there.

Remember, I'm limited to CA bikes. So that's the only market that matters to me. I haven't seen ANYTHING in an '06 similar to this for under $15,500. And that's doing a statewide search in Cycletrader and Craigslist! Now, if I wanted to settle for basic black, with little or no upgrades, I might find a sub-$15K deal. But 11-12K???? Ain't in the cards!
