I just ordered the 71208-07 the other day and I should have it in the next few days. I was going to have my local dealer install it. They said it would be about an hours labor involved. Any idea how much work is involved? I haven't been able to find instructions online.

Should be no trouble at all Red to put on. Just need totake offyour current console and remove the guts then just put it all back in to the new one and bolt it down again. May take a bit longer than an hour if you have never done before. Have a look at a work shop manual and will show how to pull the old one off if your not sure butis easy to do.

After seeing the pic above I kinda like that console now but the low profile looks good and Ithink its the same one on the S/E softail.

link is for the low profile.
still like the lines around the front on the low profile though.

I ended up with the chrome console like everyone posted above and I love it. Really sets off the tank with that and the flushmount gauges. Installation was real easy and took me all of maybe 30-45 min. Definitely a do it yourself job.

It is a easy update by the looks,
but has a significant impact on the looks dept.
Will be one of the next upgrades I do.
I was looking at the skull insert but I think as a Whole unit the Chrome dash can't be beat.

James what year Deluxe did you put P/N 71202-03 on? I have a 2011 deluxe and the parts guy at my local said that they only fit up to 2010!
