Another vote for the Mustang with rider's back rest. I started with the stock HD Deluxe seat, then the HD Sundowner, then the Mustang. Now you can still have back problems that are not related to the seat. If you have upper back pain it could be due to the position of your handle bars. I found that turning the bars down a tad made a big improvement.

Corbin, have 2. 1 with heat, both needed to be broken in.
Rode 8,600 miles 1 trip no problem. The same Corbin back rest fits both seats. it is adjustable.

I had a mustang daytripper on my Deuce and I loved it. I recently switched over to a Danny Gray, solo seat, which also feels very nice, but will have to wait for warmer weather for the true test!

I still ride with the stock seat on my 06 Heritage FLSTI, but I switched out the handle bars and risers with those from a Deluxe. It put me back and more upright and turned my hands to a more flat position. No more aching back.

I have had a Mustang and an Ultimate seat. Myself, I preferred the Ultimate with the adjustable driver's back rest. My wife said the pillion was much more comfortable on the Ultimate also.

I have spoken with them personally when I ordered my seat. They were great to work with. They have a 14 day return policy. Give them a look. Pricey, but worth it.

You want the "best", when it comes to long distance riding I don't think there is any better.

I'll take the pepsi challange and I dont see day long supporting the forum either
and that first seat just kills a Fattys look imo.

Should anyone have any questions in regards to Corbin Saddles, feel free to shoot me an e-mail. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions that anyone may have.

...Corbin does custom positioning modifications as well... You tell me what you want, and I'll tell the guy with the electric knife in his hand to "Cut some more outta here."

I was having back problems too.
I found out that my shocks and posture was what were killing me.
Try to sit up straighter.

Before you buy a new seat, I think I would go right to the root and install a set of Progressive, or comparibleshocks.
Work from the roadon up.
Sit up straighter, buy a set of top notch shocks and I bet your seat choice won't make nearly as much of a difference.
My back no longer bothers me at all.

BTW, I have a LePera Silhouette Deluxe.
It's great for about an hour, then my *** is on fire..
