Hey Luxe, what kuryakyn mounts are you referring to?

ORIGINAL: Luxe

I have HD pass. boards on kuryakyn mounts for my Deluxe with V&H duals. Had to do a little custom work, but that's what makes it fun. I also was able to utilize my HD shifter rod cover on my stock shifter rod with the V&H duals. I installed my own system, & have seen both systems up close & personal. That's why I chose V&H. Some people are looking for differentqualities or styles, that's why there are so many bikes, parts & accesories. It would be pretty boring if we all liked the same thing! Sure lots of great advice & beautiful scooters here though!

V&H - far superior in quality and sound - buddy of mine runs the long and swears by them...I've had two different sets of V&H and swear they'll be the only company I buy pipes from here on out -

Never had a problem with my Samsons, but just recently helped my bro-in-law install the V&H. IMHO the V&H product is of very high quality. I think it comes down to personal preference.

My vote is for V&H. Not only do they have full coverage heat shields all the way to the back which eliminates blueing but the pipes look fat and mean all the way to the tips.

I spent a lot of time a looking and a talking to both the reps for V&H and Samson at Sturgis this last year, and IMHO the V&H are far better.....with the Samsons, no option for baffles or removal of baffles, you buy with or without, that's it...the Samsons require a new shifter linkage, provided with the pipes I think, but it's bent to accomodate the pipe, thus preventing you from using a chrome linkage cover or any type of chrome linkage.
IMO, the V&H have smoother lines, allows for removal or installation of baffles and does not require a new shift linkage. Plus, they sound goooooddddd!!!!
Sorry, my sig is not of an updated pic with the new duals.......
