You guys have been great, thanks for all the answers. Still just curious about the "why-nots" of the factory cruise. Is the wiring harness is not compatible?
I do like the manual cruise ya'll speak of, I think it is the best non factory option.
Any suggestions on pipes.....more throaty but not too loud. I usually leave the house at five in the am. Don't want to have to push my bike into the next block before I start it. I keep telling the wife that loud pipes are a safety device..........they can hear me coming. Haven't convinced her yet.
PS. It was a great day to ride in west Texas.
