Thats the wayHD does it......anyone who has ever installed any HD parts or accessoriesusing the associated instructions/drawings has seen this before.
It all comes down to making it difficult or seemingly impossiblein the hopes that the consumer will be vexed into bringing into the shop and paying for the istallation service. I used to think they just had poor technical writers.
Try putting on their detachable docking kits for the first time with the provided instructions. The pictures look like they were taken ina cave with no lights. But what is even better is that they are wrong!Maybe they outsourced this to another third world country.

After all how hard could it be?? RIGHT!!
