MINI TACH?

RE: MINI TACH?
I dont know if this has ever been asked or discussed, but me coming from the world of lt1/ls1 camaros and using them a lot, what about a small led shift light mounted out of the way to flash where you can see it when you hit a pre determined rpm? Is it doable on a harley? Might be an option if so and one i might use myself. Im with the others, a tach the motor doesnt seem safe or even viewable

RE: MINI TACH?
Screamin' Eagle bar/tach sets are the only way to get a clean, wire hidingmount.
I used the 2003 SE Deuce bars with the riser cover, and it hides 100% of the wiring.
When I added the bars, I wasn't planning on a tach because I like a clean look also, but the riser cover had the tach wire access hole in the top, and there wasn't a tasteful way to cover it up, so I added the tach just to finish things up right..
I'm glad I did because there is so much RPM left in the motor. My "ear" tach was at 5,000 RPM, but the actual RPM was around 4,000. Without the actual tach, I would have never used all of the power I have above 4,000...

Rockerhead,
It's the microTach+ tachometer at
www.speedwayinstrument.com
Won't take way from the look of your bars.
