A mate of mine got her Harley stolen last night in a lockup garage,bike had an alarm and fork lock and a chain.

Makes you think doesn't it what these ba@#$%ds will do and what lengths they will go to to take your prized possession.So just be careful all.

WTF is wrong with people? If you want something nice work hard and earn it don't be a POS and steal from those that do that. I hope she gets her bike back man.

 

Back in '83 mine was almost stolen. I woke up one morning and looked out on the front patio and it was'nt there. Talk about coronary!!! I ran out to find it laying on the side walk. They had stuck a pipe through the rear wheel and lifted up and were trying to steer it down the sidewalk when the pipe bent and they dropped it. whew!

 

That is one of the worse feelings you can get, walking into your garage and finding your bike missing [:'(]

 

You know, whenever I hear something like that I wonder ifwe may have been a little too hasty inabolishing public floggings and hangings. Not to mention keel hauling.

 

That just sucks. People can be so brazen. We had 2 security cameras stolen from outside our store during early morning daylight, it's all on video until they cut the cables. Cops were about as much help as a......well, I don't know what, but I guess a full facial color shot of the perpretrator, visible tatoos, fingerprints,and aclear pictureof his car was just not enough to go on.

 

Two words.........CURB KICK!

 

Yeah amazing isn't it.I cant believe the hide of some people these days.No respect for other peoples property.Hopefully she will get it back but i doubt it.

Luckily it was insured but it was not even 12mths old but now she is thinking well if i get another one will the same thing happen.If they stole this one they can just as easily steal the new one.And she had a fair bit of security so dont know what else she could have done from a security perspective.I suppose if they reallywant to take it they will.
