TRI BAR TAIL LIGHT
Anyone experiencing issues in the wet with HD's TriBar tail light for softails (Custom, Standard & Nightrain)?
My fourth one went on Saturday riding home in a storm. Twice they've failed completely and twice they failed with thebrake light staying on.
Spoke to the dealer who says they are prone to rain but no fix or redesign from HD. They conceded their only experience is my bike and another customer who had his replaced once or twice. The dealer is happy to pick my bike up, replace and fit at no charge - so I'm not out of pocket but veryp*ssed off for the inconvenience and potential for being rear ended because the light is dead.
Maybe they're designed for Arizona not wet UK?
Anyone else had this problem?

RE: TRI BAR TAIL LIGHT
The first day I put mine on I washed the bike right after the install and only had a brake light that stayed on all the time . After a few hours it must have dried out and never had the problem again but I also try to keep water away from it . Guess if I get stuck in a storm I'd be screwed too []

RE: TRI BAR TAIL LIGHT
I went through that last year. Bike got wet, light stayed on until it dried off....
I've got the fix...
Listen up, it's the plug under the seat that is causing the problems folks, not the light itself..
Unplug the connection, clean it, grease it and you will be fine..
