RE: help want simple answer
Cant really say about the jetting on a new bike. My 05 Springer is inj. but if he's talking a #48 that would be the low speed jet. On my 87 EVO chopper I'm running a #55 low speed and a #190 main and it run's great but then I'm running cam, 10 1/2:1 piston's some head work, 2 1/4 inch Porker pipes and a free flow intake.

RE: help want simple answer
The main thing you should be concerned with is that you are not running lean. You can ruin a new set of pipes if you roll out of the dealership with too small of a jet. I run injected too so I'm no expert on jet sizes. I'm sure you will get some more answers here.

You can go to the Vance and Hines web site and give them a call, I am sure they will be able to help you out, they even sell the jet kits that you would need.
