Even pushed all the way forward my mini apes are just sad. I thought I'd want 16"s but being my first Harley I went conservative with 12"s. Maybe this winter I'll hike up my skirt and install some real apes.... Awesome thread, nice bikes and apes

Sick set up...just ordered the same ones for my deluxe. I'm having all the cables ran through the handlebars though.

 

Finally getting around to posting some pics of the new bars.

Santee Bonanza Wides. Did the install myself. The only issue I ran into was a bur on the inside of the bar that was ripping up the wires whenever I pulled them through. Ended up figuring out a way to file it down and get the wires through unharmed.
