Long time lurker here I think this is my first post. I have received a lot of good information here; so thank you all very much. I really like those Santee Bonanza bars you got there very nice. I'm considering apes right now for my softail. Along with a Russ Wernimont Fender that I'm gonna chop a bit. Gonna kinda make my own Heartland kit without the huge price tag.

My Buddy's 14" + 6" risers compared to my 12" + 2" Offset Dog Bones..

 

Why did he not just go with 20" apes

 

The Fedex guy just delivered my 14"s today. Gonna stay with the 2" risers - construction starts this weekend.. will definitely post pics when done.

Here are my bars by BR's Custom Bars. They are 14" 1.25" in diameter sweeping beater bars with sweeping gussets and an internal throttle.
