Kowan those are badass bars you got. Great job on it! Don't see those every day (yours are the 1st I've ever seen on a bike), and for being 1.5" x 13.5", they actually look taller than conventional 1-1/4" x 16's.

How do you find them compared to your old ones?

I used the 23" Lighting Bolts Bill has posted on his site and chopped the look down for the size I wanted. I had emailed Bill the chopped picture and he didn't think the look would work for the sizes I asked for until he saw the picture.
I asked Bill to keep the overall stock width of the stockers.
Instead of the slightly leaning forward reach, (for me) of the stock bars, I'm now upright for a more comfortable riding position. Very comfortable to ride. I just need to practice slow speed manevers since it changes what I was used to balance wise. I love the handling, it's just different and I'll have fun getting used to them.

 

I always thought the other picture was photo shopped or something cause there is no way i would attempt to ride that, but screwing around on Google last bight brought up another one. This guy is nuts. But I guess he doesn't have any doubts about if he should have gone taller!!!!! Look at the exhaust, this cat is a freak hahahahhaha
