Absolutely. I don't know where this myth came about that you need fat bars to have internal wiring. I see guys on here use that as their logic to run chubbys.

 

I really like the look of those bars on your bike. I gotta couple questions... How tall are you, if you don't mind me askin'? And how much longer did you have to extend your cables? I was thinkin' about switchin' my bars out at some point later down the line, just to change the look of my bike again. I talked to the parts manager at the local dealer, and he told me in the end I would be lookin' at about $500 for set of Flanders 13" apes, cables, and install. I was gonna see if I could find all the parts I need cheaper.

Thanks for all the compliments ! I'm hoping for a clear dry day one day soon so I can get some better pics .
Live2Ride , I am 6'1 and where these bars are I sit straight up with my hands about or a little higher than my shoulders . I have them pushed forward a little and they are perfect there . The only time I have to stretch a little is at a full turn . As for the cables your better off mounting the bars and measuring with a string or wire so you get the perfect lenghth for where you want to run them . I think my clutch was 74" , Throttle 43" and brake line 54"
