Is there any handling difference between a narrow ape (with 7" center width) and a normal ape (with 9" or more center width) ???
I´ve heard that with a normal ape you have better control of the bike.
My sporty (before the crash) had apes. First a 23", later a 15". Now i´m willing to put one in my fxstc with flstf front end.

Putting them on my Heritage now. 16" from Hill County. I'm having trouble routing my throttle cables. I want to use my windsheild some and have problems with the throttle returning when I turn the bars to the right. I'm going to lube them tomorrow to see if that helps. They sure are comfy sitting on the bike.I have a Mommoth Ice Age seat so they are a little higher. I'll post pics in the next couple of days.Nice Heritage CSR. Bill
