Art Alloy or Arlen Ness Poly bushings?

 

I did the Alloy Art ones and the steel sleeve that goes through the center was too long to get the bars tight in the trees...like things were bottoming out on the sleeve before the poly bushings had expanded enough to tighten things up. Once I ground about 1/8" off the end of each one they were nice and tight.

If I had to do it over again I'd probably buy the Harley ones.

23" ??? I'm not sure I could get my feet on the floorboards with those.

Hehehehe, keeps people from asking to ride it... I got a brother here that's a bit vertically challenged. It's a riot watching him on it!

I went to his birthday party with a few friends years back. Saw him ride that from about 10 bikes back in the pack. Not sure I'd have made it back on that thing in that traffic.

 

I've seen him riding it for years... he wheels around on it surprisingly well. Uses only his finger tips on the throttle (that's not him on the bike in the pic). He is a nice chap every time I've spoken to him. For some reason Missouri has no handlebar height law but they do have a helmet law.

Your bike looks tough by the way! My 16's are just perfect, I'm afraid 23's might be a little to tall for me.
