The apes will be for sale in the next couple weeks , along with the grips, risers, forks/trees/sliders etc and the whole rear end (wheel/fender/swingarm/brake light), indicators, brakes, exhaust, seats and possibly tank, dash, gas tank caps and digital gauge

I wasn't a fan of the fenders, but after slamming the rear, I loved the look of it so I kept it. But it's time for a change.

Either Thunderbikes two piece 12" Flip apes, or RSD's short stack 7.5" vintage apes. I'm changing everything up so the new bars will suit the new look. Fatter rear and with shorter wrap fenders, different bobber tank, low profile spring seat, springer front end, tank shift, new bigger brakes, new pipes, switches, grips, chain drive etc etc the list goes on and on lol. Slowly collecting parts. Spent the last 3 months sending email after email and countless hours researching and googling and more emails chasing parts and figuring out what will work (being in Australia with a phone I can't make international calls makes things happen slow). Pretty much I'm only left with working out which bars and which gas tank. Then it's just the small details along the way Thanks man!! But this is why... new 4 under springer 1.5" bars are too thick for the new look, plus I want lower apes for this next build Thanks bud! Means a lot coming from a guy with a bike I've admired all along too! Cheers! It's the the the factory harley ducktail style fender on the FXST's

I wasn't too sure about going fat on the rear but after coming across a few pics of bikes running short springer fronts, bobber tanks and fat rears, I was led to try it. Thinking of going for a 260.
I had a swing arm widened, and a custom made low profile spring seat done by a custom shop here. Thinking possibly a Led Sled customs swing arm fender. Primary offset kit still deciding which one to go
