Really liking how hard you have the rear slammed:

 

Is there a good way to tell what size (height) bars to get without expensive trial and error? I assume they are measured from the risers, but what about pull-back (without compromising control of bike) etc.
I'm what you would called vertically challenged, so I know I'm not looking at anything like 17" on 2" risers but I am not sure what I *am* looking for.
My current (stock Fat Boy Lo) bars are a bit low and I would like something that raises it to about mid-chest level. I'm thinking something like Reddzx's bike

I'd like to see some actual pics of ya'll sitting on your bike with your apes. @Blackpearl68, your description sounds spot on with the size you bought and your height.

I ordered a set of 10" Wild 1 Chubbys. Those, on my 2" risers, will put my hands right at shoulder height with my low seat. I'm going for functionality a bit over extremes, so I think these will do pretty well.

I put a temp pair of 8" on and with my 2" risers and the bars pushed forward a bit, I can barely reach the grips in a full turn. Don't know you you guys do it with the huge apes I'm seeing here and I'm skeptical about "they handle great, and I can make full turns in small parking lots!"
