I need expert advice please. I want 14 inch apes on my heritage, i am so confused on what all i am going to have to change,and afraid 14 will be to tall,but 12 to short,so 14 will prob be the ones . My stock bars on my Heritage just don't seem to feel right, they make my wrist hurt. It seem to be the angle of the bars . I have some ST BOb bars, but they really don't look much taller when i hold them up to my bike.... I am on a budget here ,,HELP !!!!

Also,how much taller can i go over stock before i have to change brake line,cables,wiring and such ... I have to pay a guy to do this job to at a local shop,so i will have that cost... He works pretty cheap though ... TIA for help and advice ..

I am 5' 11" if that helps any . Can i do this for 300.00 ? If i sound confused, I am , LOL .

Blown away by some awesome looking bike in these pages. Here's my '04 comfort ride. I'm 6'2"... stock was to small. Apes are Wild1 14.5. Boards and controls are Bubba's 2" forward. Mustang seat with slight modifications moving seat back 1/2", and cut "Z" bracket on backrest to lower.

Tryin' to add some monkey lovin'...Buffalo 16" apes, 1 1/2" risers....not as cool w/the two up seat, but I gotta ol' lady to haul around...
