So I’m an idiot...
I started with plenty of beer, like suggested above...a few hours the first night everything is good...got the bars on, clutch and throttle cables on everything in place.
Next night I wire everything up and test the turn signals to make sure they are on the correct sides...nothing!?. The bike is completely dead....WTF!
I spent an hour and a half pissed off thinking I blew some sort of fuse. Knowing the first thing I did was un-hook the battery...now I’m really pissed and its later then I wanted it to be, but I really want to test ride the thing...
It turns out I pulled the power from the ignition switch when I was pulling wires but its hidden up in the neck of the frame, so I couldn’t see it. MF'er! Ended up slamming everything together and took my other bike to the bar to decompress for a few.
Going to bleed the front brake tonight and test ride. That’s a wrap!

Finall get a chance to post in here after admiring all these great looking Apes, installed these a couple weeks ago. 16" LA choppers Nice curves. Picking up a new front end with powdercoated trees and lowers on tues to tie the front end together.

Got mine finished up last week. anyone else have any issues with the whole bar setup moving? (not slipping within the riser, the WHOLE setup moving) mine move back and forth a good 2-3 inches, everything is nice and tight. the stock bars moved a little bit before, so im thinking with the more leverage there moving even more now. it has new poly bushings paired with the stock risers and stock clamps, 16" chubbies.
