[QUOTE=Rocker_Dan;9239015]I did consider the nice curves, but coz I loved these on my train so much I went with the outlawz again

Actually CT I think it was your bike I first saw them on
Cheers

Awesome bike and I like the bars. Last year I sent the FB up for the winter special and had 12.5 Wild 1 1.25 Chubby bars done.

I was sending my 06 SB up this year for the same bars until I ran across the LAC Nice Curves. Looked at both the Outlawz and Nice Curves and both were so close. I opted to go with the Nice Curves as I thought the slight inward curve was just a little different.

Oh well, we gotta stimulate the economy somehow.

10" Todd's Cycle chubby's. Will be powdered black once I'm done welding in the internal throttle and drilling for the Grip Ace.

jreichart,

Would love to hear form ya on the internal throttle and grip ace, I'm looking to use them in the near future.
Are you going to have any leavers up there?

Just one lever for the front brake. I'm also switching to foot clutch jockey shift, or I would have put the front brake on the rear pedal and installed a balancer.
Here's a link to my photobucket album with most of the pics from this round of mods. So far, the Grip Ace has been the smoothest install. I reused the stock deutsch connectors with new pins so it was all plug-n-play. I have a couple extra contollers and a wiring harness for sale, all you'd need then is the button pad. Pm me if your interested, and don't be afraid to ask questions, part of the fun doing these mods is sharing the experience and info with others!

As for the internal throttle, I used the Exile setup. The install will depend on your bars. The throttle is designed to be a slip fit in stock 1" bars. If you have aftermarket bars with a heavier grade tube, or, like mine, a double walled transition from 1.25" to 1", you will have to spend some quality time with the dremel and lots of patience.

I've been going back and forth with my bar set up in my mind. I reall want to run clean bars but I'm not sure how practical the jocky shift is as I ride often and wonder if it might get tiresome! Then the auto clutch/twist clutch set up is freaking expensive as hell and don't want to spend funds on that now. I'm also not sure how the dual brake off the foot brake will work for ABS. I know Russ has been doing it on the regular set up for years now but did not mention anything about ABS when I talked to him about it.
Give us a report after you've ridden it for a while with your new set up!
