Tri Bar L.E.D. tailight install...easy to D.I.Y.?
My local dealer has a 20% off sale on parts & acc. this weekend and I'm thinking of buyingthe Tri Bar L.E.D. tailight for my Night Train.
Is this a simple "plug 'n play" installation and easy enough to D.I.Y.? Is there any cuttingor soldering involved?
I do my own fluid, filter, brake pad& tire changes, but my electrical experience is practically nil.

Its very easy plug and play setup, just a couple of bolts on each side and its already wired with the right connector plug.
It shouldn't take more than half an hour to fourty five minutes if your taking your time.
An hour if your having a beer with it.

Thanks Citoriplus!
I think I'll pick up the L.E.D. tailight this weekend.
We just had our first bit of snow & ice on the roads around here today, so it looks like I'll have plenty of time to do the install.
BTW, for the short time I've been a member here, I've noticed how helpful you are with your many responses to members questions. I, and I'm sure many others here, really appreciate your active participation and advice.

i have to agree with citoriplus. but i will give you a heads up. (i stumbled with this a little bit becouse i was not sure what they were saying). there is 2 or 4 little round metel tabs that you will have to remove in order for the new platic housing to fit in. they tell you to use plyers and to do a twisting motion and they will come right off. with very little effert. it is a easy install and it does look great when you are all done. have fun guy

rocky's right, but if I remember the instructions properly you only have to remove the pins if your installing theadaptor for one of theBobtail racks.
OK, What is it, be nice to the old fart week? Your the second guy to say something nice about me in two days.
You guys better cut it out or I'm going to start thinking I might be slightly brighter than a blown light bulb.
