Default WTB Corbin 2-up Tour seat - 03 heritage softail

I am looking for a 2-up touring seat for a 2003 Heritage softail. The corbin part number is STO-DT . Would prefer with studs but not required. If you have one sitting on the shelf or you just want a different seat, OR you know where a good deal on a good used one or a new one. I would prefer a used one, That way someone else has it broke in. If you have one on your bike you would like to sell and go back to the stock seat, I can swap my stock seat (in new condition) and $$$.
I currenly have the corbin solo on my bike and LOVE it. But the little misses
isnt too happy with the small HARD and narrow pillion that matches my solo.

ALSO, does anyone know the difference between the solo and the 2-up tour seat on the 03 heritage? Does the two seat put the driver at the exact spot as far as height? same distance from the pegs? same seat angle?

Any and all thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.[/align]

I do have a Corbin Touring seat on my 2000. It is W/O studs. It also fits my wife's 03. It will be for sale in a few weeks. I have another seat coming for it. It was cust made, then re-done @ Corbin's in Hollister (near here) It has 1/2 of extra padding in the rider & pass area. I can shoot some pics. You can kind of see it in my avaitor pic. I had planned out selling it on ebay. I'd rather give someone on this forum a better deal. I'd like $350 for it, + shpg. It is in perfect cond.

In answer to your other question, the tour seat "might" place you slightly fwd compared to the solo. Most Corbin seats are pretty far back. I rode my buddie's Softail with the Hollywood Solo. What a brick that was !!!!!
I forgot to mention that seat I'm selling will include the rider removeable backrest that will work for rider (or) passenger.

Can you send me some better pictures of the seat? Showing thetop and the sides up close? How wide is the rear and front seat? Do you know the part number of the seat? How many miles have you put on the seat? Is it broke in yet? I was looking for the studded seat but could consider one without studs.
Thanks
Marty

I continue to be amazed that people buy these Corbin touring seats that need "breaking in" or extra padding.

Corbin touring seats feel to me like they are cnc cut from solid granite.

Have you sat on a Mustang touring seat for comparison? What a joy compared to getting beat half to death by a Corbin.

Here's another thread on Corbins. Why so many people worrying about breaking them in? Would I buy an expensive new car that bruised me until I "broke in" the driver's seat? I'm not that stupid, I hope.

Here's a pic of my Mustang wide touring. What a joy...

I agree. Especially with a Softail. Mustang is the way I'm going. I've had several Corbin's. They are tailor fit . . . but yeah . . . Carved out of rock. I'm done with em.
